They let in the tiniest bit of light through the fabric they aren’t like heavy hotel curtains or anything but that’s good if you are hanging these yourself or need to reinstall your curtain rods like i did

I had to move the brackets for the rods up since the curtains wouldn’t clear the blinds since they are mounted outside of the window not inside
