These are thick if not wrinkly when first unpacked but they do straighten out on their own

Mine had the same issue and i changed the rod holder to some much shorter hangers and now the curtains seal up around the frame and totally blocks all light around the edges and bottom

I also often take naps during the day and it helps me sleep so good without an inch of light coming through just make sure you get it long enough and install it a few inches above the window and mine almost barely touches the floor
