Pros
It just floats on the pool and catches most of the debris. Warms the water a bit too. When you get in and it mixes with the deeper, cooler water, it makes the pool the perfect temp.

Cons
Everytime we put it on or off, our hands tear through it. It is sooooo thin! What, is this friggin thing biodegradable?
It is so thin that it is feather light. Thin like saran wrap.
This solar cover is absolute cheap junk. It works good but only lasts a year or 2 at most. Was a complete rip off.
