Pros & Cons
Pros
Heavy enough to be durable, and still easy to trim to size with regular household scissors. I am unable to comment on the durability, but this 16 mil cover is already paying for itself.
Keeps pool clean but difficult to lay over and remove, you need 2 people and coordination otherwise all the leaves will end up in pool. Can be used with other poolcools as well.
Cons
When i roll up the cover it easily rips apart with every roll. The warranty is useless, the only place it's not falling apart is the seams.
Highlights
Quality
Fits really well, durable material, keeps pool water warm, clean, keeps from evaporating and use less chemicals.
Works great and really hold the heat in the water during the night.
This was a very very poorly made product.
After only one season in salt water pool, the bubbles are falling off and clogging the pool filter.
Price
It costs $250 of propane to once hit the pool by 15 degrees and it cools back down in 2 days.
On top of it, there was no noticeable water loos due to evaporation ( saving of $50/week ).
Then my salt water chlorinator failed (several hundred dollars for a new unit and controler).
With solar cover pool is always 15 f warmer, that is about $150/day if one would require to do the same using propane heater.
Shipping
I contacted the seller, and after confirming that it was misdelivered, they sent a replacement within a week.
Packaging/appearance
A little disappointed it didn’t come with a cover to use when stored on the roller, but otherwise very happy with this cover.
