You can detach the plug, which would be necessary for that, but there is still the piece it attaches to, left inside the pillow.

The controller heats up and shuts it off of placed under anything or if it gets unplugged from the pillow ofc so youll have to unplug it and replug if it flashes orange

Youll obviously want to get a pillow cover and you can grab one on amazon for 8 for the standard 54x20 case
