Controls are intuitive and easy to use. Fits snugly and stays in place. New pad is much softer, the wires are not too thick.
Works and heats evenly. The preheat feature is a good one.
Cons
The pad now barely heats sufficiently on high to be useable. The length of the cord from the outlet to the first controller is too short.
