Pros

Price is the best now available for a queen size. Quality is great¹. With caveats. The 5 year old queen kit still works great. After trying several other brands this one is as perfect as it can be.

Heats almost instantly. Low is quite soothing. My only complaint since the beginning is that the heat settings feel very skewed toward hot.

Skirt fits up to 24-inch [thick] mattresses. It is tight and non-clumpy. And it is so soft, like a pillow top mattress pad!

This dual control mattress pad is the perfect answer to our temperature dilemma. The adjustability of different heat levels for 3 body areas makes this an excellent choice for heated pads. My pad stays on 1 all the time.

Cons

The pad has only one controller. The remote is fine, it connects to the base, and it says it's heating, but the pad never heats up.

Sunbeams customer service is awful. Now they say they are refunding me 88. Returning this one and not buying again. It's supposed to have a 3-year warranty, but don't expect to be able to use it.

My desire to have a backup up unit led to to amazon and i was so bummed to find out that there is none to be had.

I was surprised to find nothing in the package that indicated what was inside the clear plastic bag.

So damaged sunbeam box was put inside amazon box.
