Pros
This bin is amazing quality and 100% water proof. When all put together it is very sturdy and i am pleased with this purchase. Very sturdy and well engineered.
The box holds me sitting on it and i weight 220 lbs. It's a good size to store all cushions we use. The top appears to be reinforced enough for someone to sit on it.
Cons
This product is a downgrade from the previous version. Pretty disappointing given the cost of the item. Seems asinine.
Plastic is so flimsy that it requires 2 people to put it together. It isn't sturdy enough to compress the outdoor pillows i bought it to hold. While the resin/plastic portion of this deck box has held up, the metal components rust very fast.

Looks great in my outdoor service court to store lawn, garden, grand children's toys, fishing boxes, marine rope, etc.
We had to buy another one so we could store our patio cushions, our first box has our pool toys and rafts.
It says it comes assembled, but it’s not it’s flatten the box.
Competitiveness
I would say it was comparable to a lot of the other pricing for outdoor units such as this.
The price is very good ,compare to few others sellers.

Lots of groves so i recommend covering it if you store it away with a table cloth or similar item to keep dust off
