Pros

It's not terribly difficult to assemble, but there were a few places where we paused for a moment. We're experienced diy'ers and built the item in about 90-120 minutes one evening. Took me 4 hours to put together myself.

Instructions are a “c+” and you might want to watch a you tube to clarify steps. After assembly it works well. There is a video on the companys web site on how to put it together.

The struts for the lid do an excellent job of holding the lid exactly where you choose to leave it. Managed to get the lid on solo without much trouble by balancing on my head.

Instructions provide specs for the base. Used 24 12 inch pavers as foundation and fits perfectly. Most important thing is to have a supportive level surface.

The lifters are a little tricky to install. It’s helpful to have two people for assembly, especially when attaching the roof.

Cons

Suncast sent the wrong hardware. It's frankly not worth the time to disassemble it to send it back. No manual was included in the box.

Both units have the hinges that are severely rusted. When the door is not in place, the walls bow in and the whole structure collapses a bit. The door hinges are not actually *attached* to the sides, but rather merely *squeeze* the sides.

Quality

Our bikes, grill, amd everything we have stored in there over the years have held up well with no signs of rust or moisture damage.

This shed is sturdy (just came through 2 tornadoes and hurricane) and is standing proud.

I tried my milwaukee 18v power drill on the lowest setting and it quickly overdrove the screws and stripped the plastic base.

The printed instructions are awful, nothing is labeled.

Price

I think i paid roughly $600 for this, and it feels like it's worth $250, but i know it probably costs at least $150 to ship this thing.

The price that i paid on amazon was over priced.

$500 seemed like a lot to pay so i waited for it to be on sale.

Was missing part and got it in less than week.

However, customer service was amazing and quickly shipped the missing parts.

Item was delivered on time and as requested.

Packaging/appearance

Box was packed nicely for removal, organization and assembly.

Unpacking revealed clearly labeled pieces, making it easy to transport them to the assembly site.

Competitiveness

I compared the model number from amazon product to the model number in the store and it was the same.

I found a similar product in a local store after i purchased this product on amazon that was much cheaper.
