Pros
The eye sensor works perfectly. It gives the rover that quality of having eyes to make it more animal like.
Cons
A quick look at the back of these is a clue as to why they're garbage. I have a working hcsr04 i was testing with that worked fine, and when i swapped each one of these in they didn't work.

Packaging/appearance
A little instruction or assistance in the packaging would be nice, but for the price you can't really complain.
Competitiveness
These worked perfectly for a robot competition project i did in grand valley 2015-16 year.
I found no duds in this sunfounder brand.
It would have won us the competition had we not messed with our robot in the last few minutes before the competiton!
Working as described, distance measured between 2cm and 480cm.

As for the accuracy it seems to only be slightly less accurate then the parallax ping ultrasonic range sensor
