The kit comes with everything you need to build any of numerous sample projects they have hosted at their site, or many other things you could want to build on your own. The esp32 board is flexible for various projects, and the tutorials are clear and... Read More
This kit offers a lot of bang for the buck, with quality components and excellent documentation. This is an amazing kit that has more electronic gadgets than you could possibly want at a great price. This particular one is very well equipped.
The coolest thing about this kit is the entire website that tells you how to use the kit. All of the documentation is online along with all of the programs. The documentation is well written, clear and concise.

Competitiveness
I got this to go in conjunction with sunfounder's arduino starter kit and their robot building kit.
As microcontrollers get cheaper and more capable, there's a lot more you can do with them as a hobbyist and the esp32 is a capable board.
I will need to play around with sketch and compare it to gnu radio, some of the home automation packages, and other approaches.
However, the tools and instructions aren’t as polished as other platforms like arduino or rpi.
