No there is no arduino included but you can buy clones of the arduino nano for under 3 shipped on ebay or get a 15 arduino uno clone from amazon theres one made by sunfounder

The nano and uno are exactly the same except for formfactor nano is in a breadboard friendly format and the uno uses usbb whereas the nano uses mini usb

Unfortunately the guide doesnt explain how to program so if you are coming in with zero programming knowledge that could be a stumbling block this wasnt a problem for me as im a software developer
