For the record the c example code is what outputs what you see on the screen in the image above

You have to know c if you want to change it and you have to run it in the background at boot as root if you want it to work without restarting the program every time you restart the pi

In short if you dont know about linux and you just want a screen look into the screens that run off the hdmi input
