The raspberry pi pico is a very capable controller out-of-the-box. The pico w is the wireless version of the pico, so wireless is available to make these connected projects. Great for learning basic electronics / python.

The pico kit has everything required to learn and do programming with raspberrypi pico. The c++ tutorials use arduino ide if you don't want to use python.
