Extra tip:in order to know what your latest raspbian os, run this on a terminal:uname -a.
If you are new to rpi gpio, this is a fantastic kit that will jump start up your learning.
4+ or higher, then you have at least raspbian jessie.
However there's a big chance that you don't need to especially if you have the latest raspbian os and the latest updates.

There are a few spelling errors here and there and the pictures are sometimes out of date but nothing that i think would detract someone from buying this product

I have tried about a half dozen of these modules so far and my only complaint is that the ir remote module does not seem to be working by following the instructions

As you can tell from the picture the cable only goes in one way into the tcobbler and if you connect it to your raspberry pi with the alignment notch towards the outside it will flip the gpio pinout 180 degrees physical pin1 will become physical pin40

In the little booklet they provide the pictures show the wrong way of connecting the ide cable to the tcobbler
