Pros & Cons
Pros
The print quality is really good. No lifting off the bed and printed everything well. No extrusion or adhesion issues. One of the most impressive composites i have ever printed with.
Sunlu is one of my favorite brands of reliable filament. This lived up to that reputation.
It's incredibly clear with little fogging or shades of yellow to it. Used to make a large (each edge is 4 inches) translucent d20.
Cons
Only use sunlu if you're on a creality ender 3 or something where replacing and maintaining parts is much cheaper. Filament appears to have to come from under other layers on the reel and it snags on other segments in the reel frequently enough that i... Read More
I'm not even sure it's the same filament as advertised. Within the same spool the results vary wildly.
This pla is absolutely garbage. Never buying this rainbow pla+ filament again.
Highlights
Quality
Sticks very well to my glass bed, quality is fine but don't expect high end quality but still very recommended for the price!
Bottom line the output quality is fantastic from the printer, i just wish glow in the dark really worked the way i would have expected.
All though this happens i still haven't found a filament better with the quality and easiness to work with.
Pressed with the adhesion and ease of setting up nd just print.
Competitiveness
i have purchased 3 rolls of sunlu pla 1.
With even less info about it than sunlu.

Because of the fact that i live in an area directly opposed to working with high moisture absorbing plas like silk ones and the fact that i could have purchased a filament dehydrater box and avoided this problem i feel like i can not accurately remove points from my rating because the odds were stacked against it

Even after altering tempetures print speed and other factors in my slicer i just couldnt get the silk to work and i would hear the popping of moisture steaming out during prints
