I am a newbie to 3d printing and had seen that some metallic colors could be a little more difficult to print with so i was worried but wanted to try one the first silk gold i ordered arrived it was dull and didnt even say silk on the label

It extruded at normal pla settings smoothly and produced a print that looked like i left a gold chain on the printer bed

I normally run the bed and hot end 10c over stock but with the latest cura update it wouldnt import my profile so i went back to the factory defaults

So first i want to say that this is a very silky looking filament but it is a little troublesome to dial it in

I was printing this around 210220c depending on the model and if it had steep overhangs

I did have a little layer adhesion issue but you probably shouldnt be printing functional prints with silk anyway
