Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Tpu works great for things like cat food can covers, bumpers on shop cabinet doors, etc. Don't be afraid of tpu, be careful to configure your printer properly.

The 95a hardness is similar to a shoe sole. It is pliable but firm but not hard like pla, petg, etc. Thinner parts like belts feel like rubber.

Took a bit to get the hang of it. Another good filament in the sunlu camp to be sure. Sunlu has yet to let me down in terms of their filament, and this tpu is no exception.

Cons

Don't feel its worth buying another to find out another spool got to humidity. The material is as stretchy as it is, sticking to the spool means it will stretch until the extruder can't feed and you'll end up with jams.

Came pretty wet as sitting in my dry box before drying was around 40% so be sure to dry it before use.

Competitiveness

Despite the higher price compared to other materials, it is worth it, especially if you need to 3d print some sort of shock abs...  Read More
