If you just want to experience vr using mobile apps and arent serious about vr then this is probably one of the best low cost options

If however you want a real vr gaming experience then you are going to want and grab a samsung gear vr at minimum or something along the lines of occulus if you want to just plug and play your way into a great vr experience
