Setting the alarm time is the same but with an alarm button

If you hit the alarm button alone it turns the alarm on and off an icon will appear and disappear

At this point you can hit any expletive button and it wont expletive matter because the actual alarm has not gone off

My husband couldnt relay information about how the alarm had become incapacitated but at that time it neither displayed time nor illumination
