The graphics are slightly better, not a noticable amount. The wii motes are not good for smash bros u. It's disappointing that this is the norm when it comes to collectible accessories.
Nintendo is ridiculous. The wii u is already just an over priced wii with a game pad that basically serves no purpose. The adapter only works with original game cube controllers. This feels like a moneygrab for nintendo.
At least they make enough. But now they just disappoint me. Horrible marketing and advertising. Especially after heavily advertising 8 players. Do not purchace.

Nintendo is absolutely scummy and intentionally has it only activate when detecting super smash bros booting up despite them simultaneously having sold a line of mario kart themed controllers compatible with it

While there are others out there that will connect your gamecube controllers to the wii u they have a reputation of being inconsistent with detecting input
