The device is sturdy and looks nice. For me, it has the potential to declutter my environment by not having to always plug in. The unit gets slightly warm after a while.

The unit is perfectly sized to sit on top of the mac mini m2. The supplied thunderbolt 4 cable connects easily to one of the two tb4 ports on the mini. You can also connect the dock to a mac studio m1 ultra using the short thunderbolt 3 cable.

Formatted the 980 pro 1tb as apfs. Installed a pny technologies 2tb xlr8 cs3030 nvme m.

Cons

This is very disappointing. I complain, they send a second one - same thing.

Turns out the problems were due to mac os not wanting to recognize unit while an older usb hub was plugged in initially.
