Absorbency
Customers generally praise the absorbency of the SUPERIOR Egyptian Cotton Pile Towel Set, with some expressing surprise that the towels are both soft and absorbent. However, a few customers have noted that the towels produce a significant amount of lint during the first wash and take longer to dry compared to other towels.
Color Consistency
Customers have mixed opinions regarding the color consistency of the SUPERIOR Egyptian Cotton Pile Towel Set. While some were pleased with the availability of various rich colors, others experienced inconsistencies in color representation and fading after washing.
Thread Durability
Customers have mixed opinions regarding the thread durability of this towel set. While some report that the towels are thick, durable, and worth the investment due to their longevity, others have experienced issues with loose threads and unraveling after washing.
Highlights
Quality
These are great bath towels, they are heavy towels that absorb dampness quick &are oh so soft.
Have owned supreme towels for over 10 years, still have all, couple oldest frayed edges after so long but still thick & luxurious!
The edges made it in tact after the first wash.
The towels {all sizes} have multiple loose threads and/long "loops" of thread that you can't do anything to fix.
Price
Would not be satisfied at $100 per towel and the construction is definitely not super premium but neither is the price.
Like the saying says, you get what you pay for.
I will buy them again when they go back on sale.
They are a little more expensive, but in this case you get exactly what you pay for, and they should last for decades.
Shipping
And the seller sent these right away!
Packaging/appearance
They arrived bundled in a plastic wrap and i was afraid how the knap might look.
I was so excited when my new towel set came.
Competitiveness
While gmos can produce similar cotton anywhere, cotton from egypt is just perfect naturally.
Note that egypt can also produce poor quality cotton and a high gsm can be misleading if the cotton is not the best quality.
The bath towels and face towels are larger than most other brands.
I’d been looking to replace some wamsutta towels i bought long ago at bbb.
