The lock is fine for keeping kids out, but a thief would break easily. Dual manual non-locking latches and a key lock act as redundant protection against the unit popping open under stress. No smashed fingers.

The box is heavy, but it's not difficult to slide around, plop it on a bath towel, grab the other end and slide it where you want it. It is heavy though but i'm sure because of its durability.

Fireking safe has 3 points to secure the opening, 2 secondary latches that don't lock and of course the primary much better made center lock. The key itself is super low security and super low quality, and i would be shocked if it wasn't a generic key...  Read More

Won't buy this brand from this vendor again. The description of the product and the included instructions are contradictory. Clearly fireking takes no responsibility for a defective product.

All my papers are damp and moldy. What's the point of having a waterproof chest if it creates moisture inside.
