Pros

Lock is fine for keeping kids out, but a thief would break easily. This one has 2 sturdy clasps to keep the lid on and it arrived in a sturdy shipper with no damage.

The overall construction of this fire/water proof box is impressive! The one piece, inset, water gasket looks to be highly effective and precisely aligned. It's compact and fireproof which i also like.

Cons

Fireking safe has 3 points to secure the opening, 2 secondary latches that don't lock and of course the primary much better made center lock. The key itself is super low security and super low quality, and i would be shocked if it wasn't a generic key... Read More

The item itself stinks. Anything left inside for over a week becomes damp and moldy. What's the point of having a waterproof chest if it creates moisture inside.

Won't buy this brand from this vendor again. The description of the product and the included instructions are contradictory. Fireking takes no responsibility for a badly designed and defective product.
