It does work well, performs its filtering task as far as i can tell by sight and taste, and setup is pretty easy
The filter states that it will last for 8 months if filtering 5.
I have had the water tested after going through this filter and there were no harmful bacteria present.
Price
On it's own, this is a very good filter with a price tag that's hefty but these filters are worth the money.
Outside of the price tag it works effectively and filter as it should after testing.
As for the filters, should you need another set of 2, it will cost roughly $99 at the time of this review.
This is such a blessing to me that if it wasnt priced a tad bit high, i would buy one for my daughter.
Packaging/appearance
The unit was impeccably packed to avoid scratching and looks great.
And it is compact enough when packed in the box to be able to just grab it and throw it in your vehicle if you need to evacuate.
This unit comes with two white candlestick type water filters .
Competitiveness
This countertop gravity-fed water filtration unit is a great value compared with the much more expensive rival product from you know who.
We have found larger, smaller, cheaper systems, but this one by survivor is the best for the price that we've encountered.
The cost of this unit is much cheaper than top competitors.
The ceramic filter compared to the pur brand filter seems to produce somewhat better results based on the tds meter.

We have well water and it is really good water with almost no sediment and a great refreshing taste but a few years ago on one of our annual tests it showed some possible harmful bacteria

And it’s been proven that most bottled water is no more than tap water and tap water is turning out to be unsafe plus it is treated with poisonous chemicals

It will turn nasty tap water which no one in my city can drink due to the contaminants into fresh drinking water
