Pros & Cons
Pros
I own sushi go party, and while it's fun, this one replaces it for me. Great to add to your game collection for a light-weight family game or as a filler game. Only critique i've heard from anyone that encounters this game is they all agree the game b... Read More
This was played with my weekend gaming group. This followup adds some randomness in adorable dice. Lots of tactile fun.
For new players, i think it's even easier to teach than the original game. It's a fairly quick learn, at least our tween and older generation playing thought so as well. Helps my six-year-old learned simple addition and counting to higher numbers.
Players take turns rolling and drafting dice on their turns just like cards in sushi go. It's hard to keep kids from rolling the dice constantly and keep what they initially rolled all game. The skill chits help mitigate all the randomness as well.
Cons
This seems more like a manufacturing issue than a transit issue, but i’m no expert.
Highlights
Quality
The game has quality dice and is easy to play.
Well made and fun to play with a few friends or family members.
We loved how you roll the dice each "turn" and that the game is constantly changing.
The game itself is a good, light strategy game and is a nice filler or family game.
Price
It is so worth it and from two to five players you can have the time of your life!
For $20 bucks or so this game does a super job at entertaining the folks for an hour or two.
The game is fun and the price is reasonable
Shipping
So i had a damaged game delivered, and then my replacement copy arrived.
Packaging/appearance
Well made and well packaged, the dice are beautiful.
First box was damaged in transit, second was less beat up, but still marred.
Competitiveness
Sushi rolls has the same basic concept as sushi go (adding the points on the cards) but requires a lot more strategy from the p... Read More
Comparing this to the card game, this is simpler in that you don't have to memorize the cards since the dice are all out in front of you.

Even though i liked the sushi go party game having to organize the cards and reshuffle them over and over made the game a drag after playing 3 or more rounds

There is always that someone that had been losing the first or second round to completely win on the last round and it only gets more fun and crazy the more people you have play together
