The speakers are flat across the spectrum, it is not booming, and it isn't bright.
Price
For a low price set of computer speakers, these are quite good.
But in terms of bang for the buck, i'm happy with these.
These speakers are relatively inexpensive and they sound good for their size.
Packaging/appearance

They do have 3 modes but it was hard for me to really tell much of a difference in general use
