Pros

The swan speakers and sub sound superior in every way. Good, solid bass from the sub. Crisp sound out of the left and right speakers. the bass is punchy and the highs are crisp.

Drop $150on a good turntable. Not a deal breaker. Everything is modular.

For a low/medium price rage, they sound incredible. Not to mention, these speakers are gorgeous!

They really look nice in my office. These are amazing! The short buy them you won't be disappointed. The materials are good quality.

Don't spend $100+ on some over priced bose speakers with out listening to these first. These speakers are much better than the cheap $30-$40 ones that sem to dominate the computer speaker market. They are rca, so i may be able to find an extension wit... Read More

Cons

Black panel on back of the subwoofer was completely caved in. They're susceptible to interference (they buzz), and eventually they fail.

Not the thx certified model, the $120 model. Unfortunately the build, electronically, is quite low quality. This product is not electrically safe.

The edifiers were okay, but i was never pleased with the bass.

Drop $500 on this system or something similar and spend some time at a used record store ($5 will get you a good quality used album or cd).

Competitiveness

Much better than the samsung and sony soundbar that i paid as much for.

The swan brand is synonymous with high-end speakers so i purchased the m20w speakers first.

Or if you can, i haven't found out how to after 3 weeks of fiddling around with it)-the sub kicks ass.
