I am very sensitive to noises but have only noticed the ticking of the second hand that other reviewers complained of when the watch was within a couple of inches of my ear therefore id rate this as a nonissue

The day function jammed on my watch the first time i tried to set it so i had to advance the hour and minute hands to set the day and hopefully wont ever need to access that function again the date function worked fine fortunately
