It can hold a laptop but there is no separate pocket for one so it may shift around if you plan on carrying a laptop all the time

Its a nice backback but theres no padding at the bottom of the bag to protect a laptop for example and very few pockets

For the same price i found another swiss gear backpack exclusive to sams club i think of a similar size that had a cushioned bottom multiple zipper pockets and an rfidsheilded pocket that works so well that my phone loses wifi and cell connections if i forget and put it in that pocket
