Pros
Organization is a breeze with this backpack. Rfid-blocking pocket ensures that my sensitive information stays secure. Love the design within the zipper sections.
The sleek black design with subtle swissgear branding gives this backpack a professional yet understated look. It's not humongous and has high quality stitch work. It’s nice tho, pretty durable.
The straps are nicely padded, distributing the weight nicely. Mainly comfortable for the back. One complaint is that the shoulder straps were a little too close together.
Brand is known for the durability. I use it as a pta in home health and it is so easy to wipe clean and still looks brand new.
Cons
Overall just horribly disappointed in this bag as an everyday carry work bag. My 15 lenovo work laptop is hard to put into the main compartment due to the curvature of the pocket itself. The weird pvc material starts to turn colors so my white backpac... Read More

The bag like super sturdy and lives up the expectations from a swiss gear product.
The adjustable sternum strap and ergonomic design further enhance comfort, making long commutes or extended travel a breeze.
The plastic one provided is weak and i almost broke it the first day.
After having the backpack for only a few days, the one zipper pull broke on the main compartment.
Price
This is a great buy, especially if you can catch it on sale.
Overall a good value for the money, but not really built for a road-warrior.
Competitiveness
Overall i really like the swiss backpacks, much better quality than the cheaper amazon basic types.
Comfort is another standout feature of the swissgear cecil 5505.
We have bought many swiss gear backpacks and don't think we'll be changing the brand any time soon.
Canvas quality is lower than the sister packs and zippers are not metal like the upper lines.
