Quality
Swissgear never disappointed me, the quality is always there
It is made of high denier fabric and has roomy bottle holders, a well padded laptop storage section and nicely organized pockets.
Been travelling with this backpack for 1 month now, been thru snow, muds and washed 2 times with washer and still holding up like day1.
The only improvement would have been an included rain cover but, besides that, this is a great colleege backpack.
Competitiveness
There are several pockets, not that many compare to another backpack that i have had a long time.

The laptop compartment is a bit small especially if you have a laptop thats on the large side

The space is a little less than i expected and it is difficult to add additional items other than the laptop in it

He is able to squeeze the laptop charger and mouse but then there is no space left for anything else

Ive been carrying around my work laptop in a messenger style laptop case but i was getting tired of carrying it while i was carrying other things
