Pros & Cons
Pros
There's a dedicated glasses compartment which wasn't an afterthought. It's a hard compartment that won't let your glasses get crushed if you toss this bag in your truck. It has many options for small tools, a protective pocket for glasses, and a roomy... Read More
The top handle is definitely a comfy grip. No need to open a zipper etc. The extra couple pounds of weight vs the other backpacks is surprisingly noticeable. The shoulder straps feel great even though i am loaded with about 30 to 40 pounds of tools.
As an offshore scada control systems technician in the gom offshore oil and gas industry, i find this to be the best tool backpack out there. Works amazing as a carry-on for flying. Usb pass through is convenient.
The workmanship is great. It's incredibly well-made and very durable. The stitching looks to be great quality.
Most important thing for me is durability. Hard formed base keeps backpack standing upright. That alone is priceless.
Cons
The bag requires two hands to zip up (see video) on both flaps. The tool straps are not elastic. The front pocket, which has elastic retention straps, are all sewn at the bottom. The only good thing about this bag is that it is durable.
What is the point? Just a open void. At a certain point doing things cheaper and faster causes poor quality products and they have now lost one loyal customer.
Highlights
Quality
Durable and perfect for tools and laptop.
Love the size, storage, comfort and look.
After that nothing major failed until recently when it seems like all of the zippers themselves failed one after another and no... Read More
Good not great this is made for looks not function.
Price
Unfortunately, all of that comes at a cost - weight.
Packaging/appearance
It's a great pack, and it has a lot of uses!
The first thing you'll notice is that it just looks nice.
Competitiveness
However the main zippers are certainly lacking reinforcement compared to my other swiss bags and tool bags.

I’m not sure if it’s just a manufacturing defect in the backpack i got or if it’s an actual design choice but it just doesn’t work as intended

You should be able to slot all of the above mentioned items in the front pouch for easy access and it just doesn’t work the way they have it
