Another reviewer mentioned a problem where the unit would work fine for a while then one day run into an issue where the light would turn on but not turn off

We ran a few experiments and found the light would turn off properly if the batterysensor piece wasnt connected to any other piece

I then tested the batteries and all were one tick above dead

Maybe the light staying on when batteries are low is an undocumented feature to warn you to change batteries i couldnt find any troubleshooting notes on it

The motion sensors worked well but they were overly sensitive so it lit up when i would just walk by the steps
