Fix if the dvd player will not load a dvd remove the dvd look at the optical laser head if it is near the outer radius it might have traveled too far and can not see the dvd disk i found putting the dvd in label down towards the optical laser caused the optical head to move towards the center hub do this with your hand on the dvd player lid shut when you feel the slight vibration of movement after 3 seconds shut the power off first then open the dvd player the dvd should still be spinning let the dvd player with lid open spin to a stop remove upside down dvd and check position of optical head it should have moved towards the center hub with power off with power offcorrectly place dvd with label facing you into dvd player and turn on the power then wait for the dvd to boot up
