It does occasionally get hard to look at and turning the brightness and contrast down to compensate does make the actual picture look less than ideal

The only reason i gave it 4 stars overall and 35 for sound quality is because im a musician who is pretty particular sonically but in relation to other tv speakers these are pretty up to par i dont think i would be able to give any tv above a 45 in sound quality anyways
