Pros & Cons
Pros
Light weight, strong, no flutter and no drip. It's adjustable and very lightweight.
Bote inflatable kayak is a bit wide in the hips, so it's probably a combination of things. Adjustment mechanism allows both 10cm length range and a full 360 feathering. The pelican paddle has a telescoping ferrule system that adjusts both length and f... Read More
Looks exactly same as pictured and great customer service. Works very well with the light and dark blue colored wave, swirl design of my kayak. Can't wait to dip it into its first stream.
The pelican symbiosa kayak paddle is a very good basic kayak paddle at a reasonable price. The blade shape and size is nearly identical to the pelicans blades. The blades have no flex from the *, so i have so much more power.
The best paddle for intermediate-level kayaker and sup'r. Not cheap but worth the money. The pros. Have not used any other paddle since first use. Com is based in newport, california.
Cons
The paddle is light weight and it looks cool, but there is something wrong with the paddle design. No big deal.
Highlights
Quality
Very sturdy; longer, adjustable length; effortless paddling
Light, easy to adjust and the no drip works great.
After flipping the cam back into place, both shafts were locked together.
It made paddling my heavy kayak easy and my arms were not completely worn out for the first voyage.
Price
It's a great paddle for the money.
The paddle is amazing for the price!

I was using a cheap big box store paddle (under $40) that only went up to 230cm long and wearing myself out.
Shipping
It arrived damaged and the return and replacement was easy peasy and fast.
Packaging/appearance
Looks exactly same as pictured and great customer service.
It was packaged pretty good and didn’t have any damage on arrival.
Didn't know the design on the paddle was just a sticker.
Competitiveness
It is so much better than the cheapo paddles that they throw in with the kayak at the local home store.
We have two bending branches paddles, which run at about the same price point as this pelican paddle.
It is roughly equivalent to an aquabound sting ray fiberglass (quality, weight and pull) but with adjustable length (240-250cm)... Read More
