More importantly they are supremely comfortable to wear for extended periods even though the headband is not all that well padded the earcups too are somewhere between onear and overear not fully overear as advertised

Mine came with a dull satin finish and they are undoubtedly real wood

They have what i call the “symphonized sound signature” that suits my listening style slanted towards the bass but not bassheavy and that probably accounts for why i have rejected some other supposedlybetter headphones in favour of the symphonized sound

I would not recommend these for running or the gym – the fit is on the loose side
