Pros
The brush is medium soft and does its job of lathering up shave soap to a thick lather. The bristles are just right -- not too soft, not too stiff. Applies shaving cream with no mess and makes shaving results 100 times better.
This one is a solid performer at a value price so you can't lose. Don't confuse this perfecto brush with similar-looking brushes with black handles offered by van der hagen. I will definitely purchase the same again.
Cons

This brush is virtually unusable. Return instructions ask for original box. Very disappointed and returning for refund.

It is a quality well-made shaving brush reminiscent of those available decades ago!
I have not used this item yet,but it seems to be well made, very pleasing to my eye as far as ascetics and is what i ordered.
I have used badger, and boar, would not recommend boar, unless you like a stiff brush, and if i ever wear out a badger brush.
Soft, more like make up brush, needs to be stiffer for a good shave brush.

Its hard to rate a brush after about six shaves but the bristles which are fairly scratchy at first seem softer after several shaves
