It still makes sandwiches and waffles but you have to hold it closed or put something on top to keep it closed properly when food is inside

I give 45 stars because the plastic feels lose and the overall strength of it feels flimsy

The cheese does run down underneath the plates but that might be happening because i put one cheese slice too many
