Pros

T-fal has several different lines of cookware. This is cookware from the initiatives line. The non-stick coating appears to be very tough and scratch resistant.

Does a rib eye nicely. I am disable so prime is a big help as stairs can be a challenge.

T-fal quality is well known and they give you 30 days if there is a defect. Well worth the affordable price. Parting with an old reliable is … this pan is great.

Cons

Very disappointing for t-fal brand. This pan is not a ultra base model as mentionedin the description, it has a machined aluminum bottom. I suspect this is due to carelessness on amazon's part, rather than an effort to cheat customers.

Quality

Great pan, but i would highly recommend adding a drop of threadlocker to the screw that holds the handle to the pan.

This is a great pan, i don't use any metal utensils and very easy to clean.

The sides are sloping so keep in mind that the 10 1/4" pan only has a 7 1/2" cooking surface.

Less than a month and the handle is already loose, very disappointing.

Price

Their price is so reasonable, i don't mind doing that.

You can’t beat the price & it cooks perfectly.

And it was half the price of the original.

This is a $15 pan and it works fine.

Competitiveness

These pans were much better quality than the ones i buy at walmart.

Seems to be just as good as more expensive pans

I guess a thicker pan has more even heat distribution which makes for a better pan, but i really can't tell the difference.

I've spent a fortune over the years on scanpan, all-clad, calphalon, etc.
