The pot itself is not bad and it has one of the best nonstick surfaces i have seen but in shipping it got bent and the lid wold not fit i had to bent it back in shape to work

So as you may summarize the pot walls are not thick but the bottom is very thick

Last night we were steaming some frozen corn and shortly after the water began to boil there was a loud pop and when we turned to look at the stove top the noticed that the lid glass lid of our new tfal pot was completely shattered and while we watched the handle and half of the broken glass fell into our corn
