Pros

Much better than the higher priced calphalon. I really like the grayish color on the outside. It's indestructible and nice to have in the collection.

Non-stick surface works well and seems robust. You don't need to use oil or cooking spray, and washing them is a breeze. They work well and have even survived the dishwasher.

Cons

Light weight gives you the impression that they are cheap quality (lid is heavier than the pan). No stick surface. The frying pans are so small that even hamburger helper goes over the sides of the biggest frying pan. Most of the lids are not intercha... Read More

My first high quality set of pans.

I have used t-fal products in the past and have found them durable, and wonderful to cook with.

I've owned t-fal cookware for 25 years or longer, can not compare the quality to any everyday cookware!

These wash easily, both by hand and in the dishwasher.

Price

I bought this set on a whim because it seemed good value.

In hindsight i should have spent the extra $50 to buy the cookware set at costco

We purchased it as an amazon deal of the day right after having to buy a new oven.

The pans are nice and at the price i paid they were a good value.

This set (17pc) came well packaged and in excellent condition.

Competitiveness

Much better than the higher priced calphalon.

For the price, i would consider this set competitive with an expensive brand hard anodized nonstick set.

The old set has an 8 quart cook pot which is a better choice for large chili stews than the 5 quart that comes with this set.
