Construction is excellent and the lid is surprisingly weighty. The pot and lid are both solid, seemingly durable, and well made. I hope that these don't affect the longevity of the pot.

T-fal is a very reliable brand with good customer service.

The lid allows condensation to drip back into the pot keeping all that lovely moisture inside.

The lid is designed so that moisture drops back into the pot.

Le creuset, and the enamel right out of the box looks good.

The sealing edges on the lid and the pot don't have ceramic coating.
