Pros & Cons
Pros
T-fal fv2640u0 heated up very well, very hot and lots of steam. It glides smoothly over the fabric and so far no need to clean the sole plate of residue that you would pick up from fabric. The glide, the heat, the steam.
Cons
After a month the steam got clogged. The steam only works sporadically.
The led is then supposed to turn off when the desired temperature is reached. The iron was never dropped and only had light use. This creates less control of the iron. Steam cuts off after about 60 seconds. Stays off about 60 second.
Highlights
Quality
I needed it for my shirts and the quality bofe this product is great.
I replaced an iron that i had for six years with this product.
Packaging/appearance
That was way back in the 1990's.
Competitiveness
This model is heavier than my original tfal which i love as i like an iron with some weight.
I ordered this model when my rowenta started leaking.
But we didn't received a t-fal iron.
I have a newer rowenta and an olisio, i do not care for either.
