Pros
This is an excellent frying pan, very nicely made and finished. I use this pan primarily for frying chicken and pork katsu, and it really works well.
The thermo-spot feature is pretty neat and works well so far, just need to pay attention to see the black marks disappear. It's also non-stick yet dishwasher and oven safe. It heats up quickly and seems hotter than our other pans on a gas burner.
The handle on this is not as comfortable as the calphalon handles, but it is one of the things that contributes to the lighter weight, so it's a worthwhile tradeoff. My only criticism is the ergonomics of the handle. The handle is heavy & durable.... Read More
Cons
The pan says it is dishwasher safe, but i don't wash my pans in the dishwasher. After 3 to 4 uses, the pan is already warped with a high center. The second one was scuffed as well but not as bad as the first.

Quality
I have used t-fal products in the past and i love the quality of their cookware.
I am delighted with the workmanship and quality of this pan, and my food turns out great as a result.
First of all, this pan has the "new age" coating instead of teflon - and i am not real confident in its hardness, or longevity.
This is not a flimsy pan, too bad it does not have a lid.
Price
I saw this t-fal at a very good price, and ordered.
Also for this price it should come with the lid.
The price has increased substantially over time, which is unfortunate.
Packaging/appearance
The pan arrived with what appeared to be "white dust" from the paper/cardboard product label that was wrapped around the pan.
No wrapping, no protecting, no nothing - just stack them, box them in multiples, and ship them.
Could’ve been packaged a little safer instead of just in the box.
