Heavy metal parts were embedded in the bottom of the box in layers of polystyrene bound up with tape. These are much too wide for a table lamp.

Took 1 star off since the bottom of the table lights is not sufficiently attached, so the felt pad falls off
They are very sturdy, and pretty, but best of all they are bright and light up my living area.
They are iron and heavy, which is nice.
Packaging/appearance
As other reviews have noted, the styrofoam packing material is awful!
