Pros
Glass is nice, but the lid and metal part could be a tad more substantial or thick to go with the heartiness of the glass. I will probably find a cute knob to glue onto the lid, it is a bit slippery during cooking.
Mail chew my old jadite nicely. Love it. Have started an exchange, so hopefully the replacement arrives intact.
Cons
The lid is so small that it doesn’t even fit over a normal cube of butter! It's literally not usable for its intended purpose unless you're willing to slice your butter in half and keep half of it in the fridge.
The measurements that are given in the listing are for the bottom part of the dish, not the lid! As many others have stated, the bottom is nice but the lid is worthless.
It's very difficult to get the lid off and on. When you twist it slips out of grooves. The lid can be pulled off without unscrewing it.

I came for the aesthetic, and i stayed for the build quality, weight, capacity, and aesthetic.
Price
Definitely worth the price but my sugar got hard.

I was shocked to open the box to find absolutely no protective packaging.
This one pours out slowly and totally shuts off the drip so that there is no stickiness left on the container.
Competitiveness
Have compared it to other repro and vintage jadeite pieces and the color is spot on.

Absolutely love this the color is accurate to the picture the only thing that’s different is that it’s not square as pictured
