Sturdy and steady as heck. The hinges are smooth, but it takes effort to move them. Very sturdy and stiff.
Cons
Product is so poorly made with zero stability and even less flexibility. Folding and u folding is a hassle. The hinges are so tight that even adult needs to put a lot of efforts.

This stand has not failed me once for 4 years in that regard.
The screen height can be adjusted up and down and just lean back in your chair and look straight ahead.
